Product Description Ferrochromium is an alloy of chromium and iron containing carbon, silicon, phosphorus and other elements. It is an important alloy additive in steelmaking. According to different carbon content, FeCr including high carbon Fecr ( C: 4~8% ), Fecr ( C: 0.5~4% ), low carbon Fecr( C:0.15~0.50% ), Micro-carbon ferrochromium (C :0.06%), ultra-fine carbon ferrochromium (C≤ 0.03%) . Product Detail : Chemical composition : Application : 1. It is used as an alloying agent for circulating bead steel, tool steel and high-speed steel with high carbon content to improve the hardenability of steel and increase the wear resistance and hardness of steel. 2. It is used as an additive for cast iron to improve the grindability and hardness of cast iron, and at the same time make cast iron have good heat resistance; 3. Used as a slag-free method to produce silicon-chromium alloys and medium, low and micro-carbon ferrochromium and chromium-containing raw materials; 4. Used as a chromium-containing raw material for electrolytic production of metallic chromium; 5. It is used as raw material for smelting stainless steel by oxygen blowing method.
